A client's schedule
A client trains one program at a time, but you can line up the blocks that come after it. Each block on the Blocks row of their Training tab is in one of four states, and the state decides two separate things: whether the client can see it, and whether it’s the program they train.

Share with client turns a draft into a shared block. Hide from client turns it back.
At midnight on its start date (or when you choose Start now), the next block becomes the client's program and the current one is marked Completed.
Seeing it is not training it
Section titled “Seeing it is not training it”Sharing a block shows it to the client under “Coming up” on the Workout tab of their app. They can look through every day of it, but they can’t start its workouts. That lets you show someone their next block while they finish this one.
A block becomes the program they train in only two ways:
- Its start date arrives. At midnight on that day, in the client’s time zone, it becomes their program and the one it replaces is marked Completed. A draft can have a date too, so you don’t have to share a block before it starts.
- You choose Start now. Stem asks whether the block it replaces was Completed or Cancelled — cut short.
Assigning a program never interrupts a client. If they already have one, the new block is saved as a draft behind it.
Where to do it
Section titled “Where to do it”- Write, share, date and start blocks: Assign & adjust a program
- Why each block is the client’s own copy: Templates and client programs
