Messaging

Every client has a conversation with you, built right into their record. You can send text, voice notes, images, programs and meal plans — and reach your whole roster in one go when you need to. This guide covers both.

  • At least one active client to message.

Open any client and the Messages panel sits on the right of their record. Collapse it to a thin strip to reclaim space, or expand it to full width when a conversation needs your focus — it remembers how you left it.

To see every conversation in one place, open Messages in the top bar. The Message centre lists who’s awaiting your reply, longest wait first; pick anyone on the left to read or start their conversation, and choose ← All messages to come back to the Message centre.

Type in the box and press Enter to send (Shift+Enter for a new line). Your message appears straight away, and any reply from the client arrives without you refreshing.

From the compose bar you can add one attachment per message:

  • Image — a photo or screenshot.
  • Program — one of your templates, which lands as a card the client can open.
  • Meal plan — one of your meal plans, sent the same way.
  • Voice note — record straight from the panel with the microphone.

Choose Templates in the compose bar to drop in a message you’ve saved, or + Save this message as a template to keep the one you’ve just typed. Manage them all under Messages → Templates, where you can insert placeholders that are filled in per client when you send. The first-name placeholder uses a client’s nickname when you’ve set one on their Details.

Unread messages show as a badge on the client’s row in your list (and on the collapsed panel). When a message doesn’t need a reply, hover the client’s unread badge and mark it read in one click, without opening the thread.

Select clients in your list — tap the circle on a client’s avatar, and hold Shift to select a range, or use Select all visible. Then:

  • Send message — the same message drops into each selected client’s own conversation.
  • Assign program — put a template on everyone you’ve selected at once.

You can also choose Message clients in the Message centre and pick recipients there.

  • Message a client one to one, with images, programs, meal plans, and voice notes
  • Save and reuse messages as templates
  • See and clear unread messages from your client list or the Message centre
  • Send the same message to many clients at once, privately
