Get the Stem app

If you’re coached through Stem, the Stem app is where you train: your program, your meal plan, check-ins, and messages with your coach all live there. The website is for coaches — as a client, you use the app.

  • Your invite from your coach. It’s a link to set up your account, by email or sent to you directly. Open it and set your password first — the email address your coach invited and that password are what you’ll sign in with.
  • An iPhone or an Android phone.

Stem is in beta, so it isn’t in the App Store or Google Play yet. Until it is, Stem adds you to the beta and you install it from there.

  • iPhone: you’ll get an email from Apple’s TestFlight inviting you to test Stem. Open it on your iPhone and follow it: it installs TestFlight from the App Store, then Stem. TestFlight links the invite to the Apple ID you’re signed in with when you accept, so accept it on the Apple ID you use day to day.
  • Android: Stem adds the Google account your phone’s Play Store uses and sends you a link. Open it on your phone, accept the invite, then install Stem from the Play Store.

If you haven’t had a beta invite, ask your coach, or email support@stem.fit with the email address your coach invited. On Android, include the Google account your Play Store uses, if it’s a different address.

Open Stem, enter your Email — the address your coach invited — and the Password you set from your invite, then choose Sign in.

Forgotten it? Choose Forgot password? on the sign-in screen and Stem emails you a link to set a new one.

New versions arrive the same way you installed the app: TestFlight lets you know on an iPhone, and the Play Store updates it on Android. On an iPhone, install each new version when it’s offered — a TestFlight version stops opening after 90 days.
